Folk, rock, pop, blues – she sings and writes it all; Featured solo artist at Musicians’ Institute Hollywood “Summer Shot” session 2011; Graduated from Musicians Institute (MI) and is performing all over LA area, including the legendary House of Blues; Taylor Rae & Band won “battle of the bands” at MI her last semester there; Local “celebrity” in the Santa Cruz and surrounding areas with excellent write-ups and reviews for her performances in area theater productions (e.g. Fame, Dorothy in “Wizard of Oz”) and performing live since her early teens.

A Bay Area/Boston based musician, originally born in Tokyo, Japan; Currently studies music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, studying voice and majoring in Contemporary Writing and Production and Film Scoring; Wide experience as an arranger/composer and performer, writes and arranges original and cover songs for himself, small ensembles and school band; Versatility in playing a number of contrasting genres authentically; Independently learned piano, guitar, drums, and alto saxophone; Current primary focus of study lies in arranging and the study of vocal and instrumental jazz.

Ruwani
Age 11 -Singer, Actress & Dancer
Ruwani has participated in school drama productions, choir and started playing the piano at age four and a half. In addition, she plays the flute for her middle school band and has been studying ballet since the age of five. Recently, she performed in “Winter Wonderland” at the Campbell Heritage Theatre and currently participates in the Certificate of Merit and the National Guild. Although Ruwani is new to the pursuit of singing, she brings a great talent and potential to this endeavor and I expect great things from and for her.
